Privacy Policy for KS Influencer Capture

KS Influencer Capture is a companion browser extension for authorized users of the KS Influencer System, provided by Beijing KingSmith Technology Co. Ltd. It helps users save public Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube creator profiles and content links to the system and view their associated records and tracking status. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the extension.

Data We Process

1. Account and authentication information

The extension uses your existing KS Influencer System session to verify your identity and permissions. It may receive your system user ID, username, nickname, and access permissions. Session cookies are attached to system requests by the browser. The extension does not directly read or copy HttpOnly session cookies, ask for your DingTalk password, or maintain a separate extension login token.

2. Public website content and page URLs

On supported public creator and content pages, the extension reads the page URL and relevant public metadata, such as the platform, creator name, profile or content identifier, title, description, and image URLs when available. This includes public Open Graph and structured metadata. It does not read private messages, social media authentication cookies, or your complete browser history.

Opening the extension popup to preview a supported page or check its status may send the current target URL and relevant public metadata to the connected KS Influencer System before you confirm a save action. Confirming a save action creates or reuses the corresponding system record. The extension does not automatically save every page you visit.

3. Business records and operational information

The system processes actions needed to provide the requested features, such as previews, creator favorites, saved content links, tracking status, and related audit or operational records. It may return existing creator information and tracking results for display in the popup. Background collection and tracking are performed by the connected system, not by the extension itself.

How We Use Data

Information is used to provide the extension's stated functionality, including:

• verifying your existing system session and enforcing your access permissions;
• identifying the current supported creator profile or content page;
• previewing a target and checking whether a corresponding record already exists;
• saving the target at your request and displaying its record or tracking status;
• opening the relevant system page for details and management; and
• maintaining the security, reliability, and auditability of these operations.

Connected Services and Data Sharing

The production service is https://influencer.kingsmith.cn. The extension also supports locally running instances at http://localhost:5180 and http://127.0.0.1:5180. It checks these fixed service origins for an existing authenticated session. Preview and save requests are associated with the service and account identified for that operation; a failed save is not automatically replayed to another service.

Saved information is available within the connected system according to its business permissions. Information may be processed by service providers where necessary to deliver the requested system functionality, or disclosed where required by applicable law. We do not sell user data or use it for advertising, unrelated profiling, creditworthiness assessments, or lending decisions.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

Our use of information received through the extension complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use and transfer this information only as necessary to provide or improve the extension's single purpose and user-facing features, for security, or as permitted by that policy and applicable law. Human access is limited to the circumstances permitted by the policy, such as user-authorized assistance, security investigations, or legal obligations.

Remote Code

All executable extension code is included in the extension package. The extension does not download or execute remotely hosted JavaScript or WebAssembly. Responses from the KS Influencer System are treated as business data, not executable code.

Local Storage and Cookies

The extension may store interface preferences, such as the selected theme, in local browser storage. System authentication cookies are managed by the browser and the connected system, rather than copied into an extension token store. Clearing extension storage can reset its preferences. Uninstalling the extension does not by itself sign you out of the website or delete records already saved to the system.

Data Retention

Saved creator and content records, tracking history, and audit records are retained in the connected system for influencer business operations and applicable audit, security, and legal requirements. There is no automatic deletion of those records when you close or uninstall the extension. Retention depends on the record type and the requirements of the organization operating the connected system. Contact us or your system administrator for retention details and to request correction or deletion. Requests are subject to applicable law, access verification, and required record retention.

Security

The production system uses HTTPS, and requests are subject to system authentication and authorization. The supported localhost and 127.0.0.1 connections use HTTP to communicate with a service on your own computer. The extension does not accept arbitrary backend addresses or bypass system permissions. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your Choices

• You can avoid sending a page for preview by not opening the extension on that page.
• You can review the detected target before confirming a save action.
• You can use the system website, subject to your permissions, to manage saved records and tracking.
• You can sign out of the system website, restrict extension site access, disable it, or uninstall it.
• You can contact us or your system administrator to request access, correction, or deletion of your data.

Closing or uninstalling the extension does not stop tracking already scheduled by the system. Manage that tracking in the system website.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the extension or applicable requirements. The latest version will be available on this page with an updated revision date. Material changes will be communicated where required by applicable law or platform policy.
